This 1968 convertible came to my shop as an already in progress restoration.

Health issues have forced the father and son who started on it to suspend their efforts. The work the have done has been done beautifully, and it is an honor to be asked to finish it for them. It is a 302 4-V (J-code) car, with an automatic transmission. They had fronm the floors forward done when I received the car. It was determined that it would also need both doors and quarter panels replaced. In the process of installing the right quarter panel previous repairs have required the replacement of the right outer wheelhouse as well. The car had been in a serious collision at some point and substantial work had been performed on the rear of this car. After the quarters and trunk floor are in it will be put on the rotisserie and the bottom will be detailed. Then the car will be returned to it suspension and all imperfections will be removed from the sheet metal and then painted.
